OUR STORY

I created this space because I believe behavior science should never lose sight of the human being at the center of it. ABA is a powerful science. It helps us understand learning, communication, and behavior in meaningful ways. But it is only one part of a much larger picture. Families navigating autism are not just managing behaviors—they are carrying emotions, stress, hopes, fears, and complex family dynamics. This site exists at the intersection of those realities.

Here, I share what I am learning in real time as I grow from an RBT into a therapist specializing in supporting autism-impacted families. It documents my evolving perspective as I study behavior analysis, family systems, trauma-informed care, and mental health counseling.

You will find:
• Clear, human-centered explanations of ABA
• Honest reflections about working in the field
• Support for RBTs navigating burnout and emotional labor
• Insights about the experiences of parents and families
• Conversations about ethics, dignity, and neurodiversity

ABA, Made Human is not about abandoning behavior science — it is about expanding it. It is about bridging the gap between clinical knowledge and real human experience.

As my career evolves, this space will evolve with me — from an RBT voice, to a clinician’s perspective, and ultimately to a platform dedicated to humanizing autism care across disciplines.

Because in the end, the goal is not just behavior change.

The goal is understanding, dignity, and support for the whole person and the whole family.
